Looking for a Space Marine part that might not exist....

Post by porkuslime »

I am in need of an arm with Crozius for a chaplain conversion I am working on. However, I don't think that any of the SM models come with a separate arm with a Crozius. The Death Company and Sanguinary Guard don't have what I need either..

Any idea for a bitz source that I won't have to chop up a metal model for?
2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

Best bet is to kitbash your own. The power maul from the DA Vet sprue is a good base for a crozius. I've seen a lot (some good, some bad) conversions use that piece. Best part: DA players (like myself) have bins full of 'em. ;)

Those would work.. not sure about the wrist angle on the standard pole. Maybe use the banner topper on the haft of the DA maul..

Just imagine the blood spray from the swing with that wrist action behind it. :)

I believe the only Chaplain model that has ever come with a removable arm was the Second Edition Terminator Chaplain.

Chaos Terminator Power Maul? Might not even need much work - depends on what you are looking for.

I used the haft from a Chaos Knight mace and the double-headed eagle topper from the Command Squad sprue. It came out pretty well.
