Re: demonllamma
Has anyone had to report someone this way? I sent the report in on Friday last week and have not heard anything from them. Figured I would have gotten an acknowledgement of recieving it or something. Is this standard?

Re: demonllamma
Sadly, it is standard.
I would suggest (a) contacting your local PD to file a police report (b) contacting their local PD to get a name of a contact person there, so you can (c) have a copy of the police report sent to demonllamma's local PD.
Also, if you know any lawyers, you might want to consider having one write a nastygram & send it on their letterhead/envelope.

We found him on Myspace. Noticed that after starting to send him messages, he suddenly changed his location. He is still ignoring all attempts at contacting him.

Re: demonllamma
The Captain is oop and hard to get so a royal pain in the rear. The other person is out a considerable sum of cash. It is not worth me going the legal route to claim although he does now have a fraud complaint in on him from me and hopefully, that will assist the other guy if he decides to press further. Mainly to me, it is a matter of principle. A problem I have when holding others to the same standards that I myself maintain. Utter and complete honesty combined with making sure that all of my dealings are square and on the level.
Thanx for reminding me, I had been waiting to put a ref in on him in case it had been an honest mistake and forgot to remedy that when I saw it was intentional fraud on his part. I'll go post that now.

So you're saying that it's a very rare figure.?. On Ebay and the like that's a costly mini.EVIL INC wrote:The Captain is oop and hard to get so a royal pain in the rear. I'd still file charges against him since it proves that he has a history of theft, mail theft and mail fraud. [mail theft goes by occurance, not dollar value. stealing any mail, wheather it's an advertisment or the Hope diamond, both have the same penalty.] {btw both of those have been shipped via USPS.}

Re: demonllamma
My local shop told me that even though they are on the site, they are "not in stock" and "not going to be again anytime soon" when I tried to order it. Dont see my local shop lying to me as they would make money by ordering and selling it to me. That leaves it down to people who happen to already have one. Of course, your logic of "its easy to get so it ok to rip you off for it" does not sit well with me.

Re: demonllamma
Got word back from the the U.S. Postal Inspection Service yesterday.They have entered the information into the National Fraud Complaint System. May share the information with other agencies if they run into any other complaints about him.
Looks like a form card but at least it lets me know that they have him and his actions on file in case anyone else has any issues with him.
